Too Blogging Hot

I have written nothing for the blog for the last few days as we are having a bijou heatwave-ette and it seems to have affected my brain. Normal (or as normal as it gets) service should be resumed in a day or two; it is full moon and there is usually a change in the weather at full moon. In fact it is the second full moon this month; a rare occurrence that is popularly (though misleadingly and incorrectly) known as a blue moon.
