The nominally Muslim terrorists who are attacking the
sort-of-democracies in the North West quadrant of the world want to establish
regimes in which telephone calls and e-mails are monitored, people are killed
not for what they have done but for what it looks as if they might be thinking
of doing, and in general with overriding central authorities keeping an eye on
what people are doing.
In order to combat this, the ‘Western Powers’ are (just for
the moment, of course) monitoring telephone calls and e-mails, shooting people
for what it looks as if they might be thinking of doing, and in general keeping
a close eye on what people are doing.
