Researchers at a University in Hungary, using Functional
Magnetic Resonance Imagery, have come to the astonishing conclusion that when
spoken to in warm, friendly tones dogs are pleased. Furthermore, when spoken to
in cross tones they are distressed. This new discovery will be of great
interest to dog-lovers everywhere; not having access to MRI scanners and
suchlike it seems unlikely many of them will already know this.
