Since we have now reached 'P' in the English alphabet, I find I am able to continue both the Limerick series and the vaguely Ecclesaistiacal theme:

‘Are we in the church or the zoo, Ma?’
‘Hush, dear! You must learn to humour
Such populist features
As ‘Blessing of Creatures’.’
‘But in the next pew, Ma — a Puma!’
