As I’ve mentioned before, on the 28th of October
1940, Greece — albeit through the medium of a dictator — said a firm ‘Όχι’ — ‘No’ — to the more powerful
European countries which were trying to get Greece to behave in ways that
suited them.
On the 5th of July 2015, Greece — this time the
Greek people themselves — said a firm ‘Όχι’ — ‘No’ — to the more powerful
European countries which were trying to get Greece to behave in ways that
suited them.
The 28th of October has become a day of celebration
of Greek Independence and National Sovereignty.
How about a second Όχι Day?
